Link Chart Trading to Separate DOM

Dear Support Board I have Chart link for Chart = 1 and Chart Link for DOM = 1. However when an order to open is placed on the the chart, it is not referencing the attached order settings as defined in the separate DOM 'main selection'. This works fine when I have the attach trade window to chart on. Any help from Support board appreciated. Many thanks. |

Thank you John, I have done that. Chart #1 (link 1) obtains the Separate Chart DOM (Chart #3) setting as expected Chart #2 (link 1) does not obtain the Separate Chart DOM (Chart #3) settings. Only places the 1 order not the Child orders? Any thoughts or direction? Many thanks |

To have the "Trade Windows" linked, you need to have the same link number and then have the option for "Trade Window" set to "Yes". In other words, only the items that are selected to be linked actually are. Hi John, I've been all through the settings as follows: 1) Find Symbol >> Open 2 X Intraday Charts (both set to Link #1). These are charts #1 and #2. 2) Find Symbol >> Open Trading DOM (gives me a separate DOM which is set to Link #1). This is chart #3 3) Chart Trade Mode On for both Charts #1 and #2. Outcome: a) Enter a Position with Child Orders using DOM #3 (as expected the selected attached orders appear on the DOM and both charts). b) Enter a Position with Child Orders using right click on Chart #1 (as expected the selected attached orders appear on the DOM and chart #2). c) Enter a Position with Child Orders using right click on Chart #2 (only a single parent order opens on chart #1, #2 and DOM #3. No attached orders on any). d) Chart Settings >> linking >> settings are the same. Symbols = Yes Trade Window = Yes Trade/Quote Symbol = Yes e) Chart Settings >> Trading >> all as default A little lost. I've obviously missed a setting. Any help appreciated. Many thanks. UPDATE:

From how you state everything was setup, it should have been working. We can not say what it was, but we are glad that you have it worked out now.
