I'd like to go back further and see more data past 2 years ago which is where it cuts off at. How can this be done?

We are not sure what you are asking in terms of "will it slow down the data?" Having more data in your charts can create some performance hits, but it really depends on how much data and how many charts. In general, the most you should see would be that it will take a little longer to load the chart. But again, it really depends on how much data you are loading (some people do 10+ years of data).
