Hi,
Looking at extending "Over night High and Low" until furture Intersection.

I set the "High/Low for Time Period" study at 18:00 start time and 9:29:59 end time with "Transparent Fill Rectangle". This study works perfectly.
Then I add the study "Extend Bar Value Until Future Intersection" as per attach #1.
This study is "Based On" the "High/Low for Time Period" study with the High value as input value as per attachment # 2. In the subgraph I use "Line" as draw style in the "Extend Bar Value Until Future Intersection".

In attachment #3, the Line is drawn but it does not stop at the future intersection.

Using Sierra Chart version 2580.

What am I doing wrong?

Regards
Robert

That study does not work as you think. It is using the graph that you set it to and looking for another item of that graph type to stop it. Since there are no "High/Low for Time Period" lines further forward, it thinks there is no intersection.
