Hi I have 2 separate Sierra instances on my machine, but it wont let me connect to the same rithmic account from both, in order to access 2 separate instruments to trade. I was able to do it with Topsteptrader but not Apex. It gives an error saying permission denied. Any suggestions please? Thanks |

Typically the "Permission Denied" message is not associated with multiple login attempts. Refer to the following for what we can tell you about the "Permission Denied" error: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Permission Denied Resolution Procedure But, it is our understanding that you can not connect more than one time to a single Rithmic account. Usually this gives a different error (we can not remember the exact wording), but it could be that Rithmic made a change so this is why you are getting this error. Are you able to connect to TopStep from two different Sierra Chart installations? And with Apex are you able to connect at all, from any system? Keep in mind, the connectivity between Sierra Chart and Rithmic was developed by Rithmic and will not be the same connectivity that they use for any other system. So if you can connect from multiple connections from a different system, it does not mean that you will be able to do this with Sierra Chart. You would need to check with Rithmic on this. And have you gone through the items in the section on "Permission Denied"?
