Problem with current day volume profile on ES (very new user)

Hi Support, Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm only a day into using Sierra Chart after moving from my previous software. I am building a volume profile chart with the full day (overnight and NY sessions) on the left in blue, and the NY session only in red on the right. The NY session is working perfectly but I'm having a couple of niggles with the full day profile, want it to start from 23:00 and run until 14:29:59 the following day (UK time). I am currently using the Volume by Price study set to Multiple Profiles Based on Fixed Time, Fixed Period set to Days and Fixed Period Length set to 1. This appears to start the chart at the session end time as set in Chart Settings at 21:00:00 and go through until Evening End Time currently set to 14:29:59. Since you are using 1 Day for the Volume at Price profile, the coverage you will see will depend on your Session Times and the Input for "Use Separate Profile for Evening Session". Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Use Separate Profile for Evening Session Also, we are not sure exactly what you are trying to do and how you are determining the times for the profiles. Offhand, from what we see, the blue profile looks to cover the time period from 21:00:00 - 20:59:59. The only way to check this for sure would be to set the "Maximum Volume Bar Width Type" to "Period Length" and the "Maximum Volume Bar Width Percentage" to "100". Then the bars will extend across the entire session so you can be certain of the times that it is covering. Thanks very much John, With a bit more fiddling and the use of 'Use different Start Time' and 'Do not load weekend data' it's working great. Early days but I'm very impressed with Sierra Chart. Cheers, Bill |
