My charts are showing incorrect historical data. If you look at the ES chart you can see that data from around end of 2021 is showing as ATH and current prices are lower which is incorrect. I tried to delete and redownload/recalculate charts but it's still showing the same. Any suggestions? Contract is continuous and back adjusted Chartbook and screenshot attached. |

The problem is that your data is "Back Adjusted". Refer to the following: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Understanding Back Adjusted Price Data and Comparisons For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok so it's back adjusted incorrectly. This has never happened before. How do I find where it went wrong? Is it easier to just delete all data and redownload?

FYI I deleted all data and redownloaded, still showing incorrect prices for prior months...

It is not incorrect. You are not understanding the nature of Back Adjustment. Again, refer to the following for what it does: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Understanding Back Adjusted Price Data and Comparisons It sounds like you do not really want to use the Back-Adjusted option, so we recommend not using it. Select a Continuous Futures Contract option that does not include Back Adjustment. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
