Do anyone know of a vendor that has a trade copy tool that will copy a sim trade from Ninja Trader 8 to SC chart? The SC study would then place the trade live into the market. It would need to support waiting limit and stop orders also. ie: If I place a limit or stop order on the ninja chart. That waiting order will also need to show up on the SC chart. I wouldn't believe any vendor would have the incentive/benefit to do that. One of the possible solution, (I don't use NT), if Ninja Trader 8 is able to write the limit/stop orders to an external text file, then Sierra is able to read it and place trades. |

Once upon a time, some very smart experts/people thought there was no incentive/benefit to create a reusable rocket. But now it's the requirement. |

Yes, I contacted him before posting in support. He is a master at doing stuff with SC that I have not seen anyone else do. He removed the ability to trade copy from ninja with his tool. But he is thinking about adding the ability back. I hope he does. Because Ninja has severe issues with trade management that SC does not experience. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-01-11 18:13:01

User139065, have you had any follow through from the vendor on the topic? His documentation says that the product currently supports SC-NT copytrading both ways. Did you give it a try?

Yes, he added the ability back into his product. However, it did not provide some features I was looking for. So, I learned NT script well enough to build my own SC to NT trade copier. It copies the trade entry signal from an NT sim account to SC. Then, I can control how I want the trade to enter the true market. Even across multiple accounts with the same prop firm. I was planning to add the ability to send orders to multiple SC installations. Which would then allow me to use multiple prop firms and multiple accounts with them. But I got distracted with other things and placed the idea on the shelf. |

User139065, thanks for your response! Would you be so kind as to explain what features you were looking for that his product lacks? That would help make informed decision. And by the way, are you familiar with https://www.simplesystemtrading.com/ trade copier? He does have copytrading between several instances of SC with different trader services, but not NT to SC copytrading, though, I guess. Plus he has only monthly subscription, not lifetime license.

(1) All the features I previously mentioned.(2)His trade copier, copies trades that are filled in NT then the order is copied via a market order only to SC. All my live trade entries are limit orders, so I needed that ability. You can contact the developer directly thru his email and I'm sure he will let you demo it for a few days. are you familiar with https://www.simplesystemtrading.com/ trade copier?
Yes,I have some of his free tools and his trend line trader.I have not used his trade copier and can not give any details. It is unlikely I would ever need it, now that I can just update my own copier. |
