I'm guessing its something stupid that I'm doing wrong, but I've tried going through the documentation/forum/etc and I'm stumped and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have two installations on the same computer that I run at the same time (one for trading, the other to run stuff like back tests, etc.). The first installation I don't use any sub-instances. For the second installation I do use a couple sub-instances. If I shut down installation #1, the sub-instances for installation #2 will lose data connection, but the main window installation #2 will still show as connected to data (green). It's just the sub-instances for install #2 where the top left status bar (or whatever it's called) will turn yellow and give me the Connecting/Reconnect Wait message. Again, it's probably something dumb that I'm doing on my part so I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm confused as to why shutting down install #1 would cut off data for the sub-instances for install # 2. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great weekend.
