Hello, I want to trade just stocks(AAPL, TSL, MBG...) and Forex using DOM with all the columns and footnotes. I want you to recommend a suitable package for me and how to setup , please? 2. I do not want to execute trades on Sierra Chart, I just want to use it for analysis. I want to ask: Is it necessary to open an account with the brokers in order to obtain the DOM and Footprint data in real time? |

1. Since you are wanting real-time data, you will need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Which package depends on what you need for your charting. Refer to the information here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages To add funds and select a package, follow the instructions here: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions You will also need the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" exchange. Once you have your package active follow the instructions at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges* 2. The requirement of having a brokerage account to get the data is only for the CME Group data. You are not wanting this data, so you do not need to worry about this. Hello, I was going to pay for the 10 package but I read that Sierra Chart does not provide DOM for forex, please tell me if this is true because I want to pay in Sierra Chart only because I want to get real time DOM for forex.

You can get the DOM for FOREX (and any other data) with Package 10. Where did you read this? Again, refer to the information on the packages, which is at the following link. Sorry, we did not realize that you were referencing the "Market Depth" data when you were referring to the DOM. What I stated in the item you reference is correct. We do not have Market Depth data for FOREX data, so it does not matter what package you are on, we simply do not have that data. If you want to get FOREX data with Market Depth into Sierra Chart, then we would recommend looking into DTN IQ Feed. The DOM is the window that contains the price ladder. Often there is a separate Trading DOM that is just that item, and does not have a "chart" that contains the bars associated with it. There are lots of different items you can display in the DOM, but to us the term DOM does not specifically mean the Market Depth. The Market Depth data is the limit orders that are sitting on the market. These can be displayed in the DOM. You an also view historical market depth using a "heatmap" or what we call the "Market Depth Historical Graph".
