I am a new subscriber to Sierra Charts. I would like to set up two types of sim trading activities. One - Delayed streaming data CME - to practice during the trading day Two - Historical Tick data download used in Replay mode. I've set up two chartbooks for this; one with a current futures contract and the other with a histockal tick chart for an older continuous contract used for replay. I'm confused by a couple of things; both Trade Evaluator data and SC internal data seem to work with sim trading. I want to use Trade account monitor for both if it's possible so that I can keep track of my progress separately using 2 sim accounts. How should I proceed in order to accomplish this and which data service should I use? Thanks, Curt |

The data is the same, as it is coming from our Delayed Streaming data. So you do not need to have any special connections. If you want to have two accounts to use with our Simulated Futures Trading Service, then just setup two accounts and be sure you keep track of which is which. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) We are not sure that we have fully answered your questions, so if there is still something you are confused by, then please let us know. I've been playing with combinations and having trouble. I have futures sim mode as data source. I'm trying to activate a trade during replay. (See screenshot) Replay works fine in "SC all date mode", however I don't get the trade account monitor and I'm not able to create my own sim trading accounts. How do I get Futures sim data service to work with Replay? When enter an order it asks if I want to enable "trade simulation mode on." If I enable this it overrides my account selection in the trade account monitor to sim1 or sim2, not my custom named account. If I don't enable this I get an error message saying that I can't enter a sim trade in a non-sim account. Please help: This is important to me and I really want this setup to work. I'm willing to pay for phone support, remote login etc. |

During a replay the only option is to use the internal Simulation Mode with the limitations that it has.
