On that Trading DOM select "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period" and tell us what the entry for "Chart Data Type" is set to. Also, on the Volume by Price profile for that Trading DOM, what is the Input for "Ticks per Volume Bar" set to? The problem is that you are using a "Historical Chart". in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Chart Data Type" change it to "Intraday Chart Only". This should resolve the main issue. You may also want to change the "Ticks per Volume Bar" for the Volume Profile Inputs to be 1 or 2. Sorry, we forgot that on a Trading DOM you can not change the Ticks per Volume Bar. It will be set to whatever the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price Volume Multiplier" is set to for that chart. A value of 5 is the default for Historical charts, but you should have changed this to an Intraday Chart, in which case the default is 1. Please check this setting for this chart/DOM and make sure it is set to 1 (or whatever value you want to use).

In the RTY DOM, select "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data" and tell us what the following items values are set to: - Volume at Price Multiplier for Intraday Chart - Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical Chart The Volume at "Price Multiplier for Intraday Chart" should be set to 1. Have you tried to open a new Trading DOM for that chart and adding a new Volume by Price study to it? If so, do you see the same thing? Make sure the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Chart Data Type" is set to "Intraday Chart" on the Trading DOM. When you open a new Trading DOM and select "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting", what is the setting for "Chart Data Type" set to? It should be "Intraday Chart" and you should not have any trouble changing it if it is. You can not change the "Session Times", but we are not asking about those. Just the "Chart Data Type". No we are not going to do that. You should know how to open a chart and change settings. If you have trouble with an existing chart for some unknown reason, then we want you to open a new Trading DOM following the instructions here: File Menu: Open Trading DOM (File) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
