Do I need real time data for scanning watchlists?

No, you do not need real-time data.

Are you using the Associated Watchlist or not?

Good morning John,

Made a lot of headway this weekend, rereading everything and working things out. Finally feel I have some good grasps of things and can move around efficiently. So thanks for all the help.

Yes, I am using Associated Watchlist" it includes all NYSE and NASDAQ symbols.

Side note. can I upgrade my account at any time once I am a customer?

To be honest I forget where I was here at the time. I think I did get past this and have things worked out. I started a new scanner thread for today with a question or two. You can close this thread for now. I think I have worked this out.

I just have to see today if my formula and scans are doing what I need, so I have to test to see if I have any problems. Scans are showing up in alerts window from the Associated Watchlist scan.
