Hello, I was wondering why there are differences in the Value Areas drawn between the 'Volume by Price' study and the 'Volume Value Area for Bars' study. The Volume Value Area for Bars study seems to use the more typical Value Area around Point of Control calculation where as the Volume by Price study does something different. Could anyone explain the formula used for the Volume by Price study?
Thanks

They should be the same, as long as the settings between the two studies are set up to be the same (in particular, using number of bars set to 1 for the VbP, and the same Value Area Percentage.

That what it was. On my 5 minute chart, I had the multiple volume profiles set to 5 minutes instead of 1 bar per period.

Thank you.
