In the near future I will be trying to attempt a prop firm challenge. I’m currently receiving live data as a Non-professional. Will I have to change my live data package to Professional even if I purchase the challenge and am not yet funded? I am currently using SC connected thru Iron beam which allows access to the CME order routing. If the answer is yes, what do you propose I do if I am still looking to get funded but can’t afford the pricey professional live data feed? While you are in the Trial Stage(s), you are not considered a Professional. When you pass the Trial(s) and become Funded Trader, your Funding Company with Rithmic's help will provide you Real-time Data and charge you for it too. You could then do the following: If you will be using Rithmic Data integrated with Rithmic Order Routing for the Funding Company, follow the instructions here: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions (note: the key element of the set-up instructions is [Common Settings]: "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds"="No") Also you could pay Sierra Chart (Denali) for Real-time Professional CME Group Data, and that would cause you to pay TWICE, when its already expensive to pay Real-time CME Group Futures Data Exchange Fees at the Professional level a single time: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Supported Exchanges (Exchange Fees) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-12-04 15:32:03

So as a listed professional under the CME groups standards, do I have to pay for Professional data on Sierra chart AND under the proprietary trading firm? Or can there just be one recurrent expensefor professional data through either the prop OR SC? Any estimates on how much this could cost monthly? I understand that will vary based on prop firm. |
