If I download the non clr version to try it, will my current spreadsheets be overwritten ?

I dont want to lose my current spreadsheets , but would like to try out the non clr spreadsheet functions.
And can you switch back to other version ?

thanks

You can use the non-CLR version. Update through Help >> Download Latest Non-CLR Version.

Your current spreadsheets will not be overwritten because the file extension is different for spreadsheets in the non-CLR version.

You can go back to the CLR version any time just by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease.

Will I have to rewrite all of the spreadsheet studies and alerts that I made ?
The charts that had spreadsheets attached for studies had nothing in the formula cells.

Is there a way to convert the spreadsheet or will I have to do them manually ?

thanks

At the present time, the formulas are not copied from old spreadsheets to new spreadsheets. This will be developed soon. Probably not for at least a month.
