Hello. I am currently working thru my trial period of Sierrachart, and getting ready to activate my 11 plan and Denali data connections. I mainly trade options on highcap US equities and ETFs- SPY, QQQ, MSFT, AMZN, AMD, etc. I am slightly confused as to whether I need to subscribe to BOTH the Nasdaq totalview and the US equities Consolidated Tape? Or will the new Consolidated tape feed be sufficient? My plan is to learn about and utilize the Chart DOM, time and sales, and using numbers bars footprint charts and TPO charts for order flow analysis.. and I obviously don't want to subscribe to anything that is redundant or not necessary for my current trading focus. Also, what is the appropriate suffix to attach when loading up charts using the Consolidated tape data feed? Thank you in advance! I'm so far blown away by the capabilities of this software... and slightly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options and the intricacies of this current beginner learning curve! You will want to use the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape to start with. This will give you the data you need for the Numbers Bars and TPOs. With just this exchange, you will enter the symbols as the standard stock symbols (e.g. MSFT). If you also want to see/need Market Depth data, then you will need to add the "NASDAQ TotalView" exchange (you will need both the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape and the NASDAQ TotalView). In this case the symbols need to entered with a '_MBO' suffix (e.g. MSFT_MBO). If you are going to be trading directly from Sierra Chart and the symbol is not what you need for trading, then you will need to use the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok thank you. And just to clarify, the " _MBO" suffix is the chart suffix for the combined Nasdaq and consolidated data, and is separate from the Market By Order (MBO) info available on the level 12 subscription, correct? Thank you!
