Hi, I am unable to place live trades on my account. I contacted my broker regarding this issue and they said everything on their end is set up and they also could see that I was connected to the Denali Exchange Data Feed. |

What exactly occurs when you try to place a trade? If you are getting an error, then we need to know the exact message you are getting. If you are not seeing anything, then after you try to place a trade, open the "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and it should give you the reason why you are having a problem. You can copy and paste the information from that log to this thread for us to take a look at it. I checked the Trade Service Log and the following message was displayed: "Trade Order Error - CQG order update. Status: REJECTED. Text: Account purchase power USD... is insufficient to satisfy total portfolio margin requirement including this order USD 1650." (This was the message for the Crude Oil market, but a similar message appears for other markets.) Does this mean I need a minimum of $1650 in my account? |
