Hello - I'm trying to display the ZigZag study as a subplot histogram and show the rotation sizes (and ideally time, volume, etc.) as text over the histogram. Attached is a screenshot of a different platform (not SC) where this is done so you can see what I'm trying to accomplish. The other platform also allows you to differentiate rotations in the same direction that are decreasing vs. increasing in size, i.e. you can have a series of adjacent histogram bars/bins that are all positive but some of them have a lighter color because they are not as high as preceding bars, i.e. a pullback in a positive rotation. This feature would be nice but I'd be happy if I can just show the rotation sizes with a single color each for up vs. down. I found a couple of threads on this issue and followed them. I was able to display the histogram by selecting 'bar' for SG9, but can't get it to show the numbers on the histogram (of course, we can see them on the price graph itself by using SG1). Please see screenshots of the SC configuration I currently have. Thank you. |

You can view the Line Length by setting the Subgraph for "Zig Zag Line Length" to "Value of Subgraph". You would also want to change the Size/Width to a value larger than 1 so it is more visible. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Value of Subgraph (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_OF_SUBGRAPH) Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Line Width For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
