Hello,

Im having another issue. I'm using a Rithmic account and every time I place an order the data resets, and i get a strange error in the message log. I can only place 1 order at a time before the outage. I logged into rithmic directly and everything seems to be fine on that end. I also connected my cash account via CQG and everything seems to be working well there also. This issue has never been a problem until today. I have attached a video for you to review showing you all these things. Please see if you can help me address this issue. Thanks Ryan Bailey

First, it is Rithmic completely disconnecting you. It is not the Denali Data Feed.

And you are looking at the wrong log. You need to look at Window >> Message Log. You can also see the disconnection from the status bar in the main window.

The problem is obvious. You are using a CQG trade symbol. Change this to a Rithmic symbol:
Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

However, it is wrong that Rithmic is disconnecting Sierra Chart due to an invalid symbol. Rather than just simply gracefully rejecting the order.

Thanks so much! I didn't realize that it did infact switch the contract over to the rithmic symbol but the trade Symbol was still set to CQG so it was throwing the error. I really appreciate you catching this. Very much appreciated
