Hello, I had Sierra Chart open during the day and my DOM had the volume profile, recent bid/ask volume, and delta data that had accumulated throughout the day. However, I had to restart my computer for an update and when I re-opened Sierra Chart, all the data seemed to have been reset. Is there a way to 1) pull the data back onto my DOM and 2) disable the reset whenever closing and reopening Sierra Chart? Also, it seems I can only see the resting/limit order for the current price. My peers' DOMs show resting orders for 10-20 lines above and below the current price. Thanks in advance! |

No and no. Some of that data is not persistent. The Volume Profile data will be persistent. We also see you are using Rithmic data. So we cannot help with any market depth data questions regarding that. We recommend using the Denali Data Feed. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for clarifying! I'm currently using a prop firm (TakeProfit Trader) that goes through Rithmic. Is it possible to use the Denali Data Feed for data while executing trades on the prop/Rithmic account within Sierra?

Yes, Sierra Chart is specifically setup to do this. Refer to the information here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services The only item of concern is that if you want data for the CME Group at the "Non-Professional" rate, then you will need to have a live, funded, futures trading account to which you can connect your Sierra Chart software. Refer to the following: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges If you do not have an account that will meet the above requirements, then we recommend the solution outlined at the following link: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
