Hello, I'm currently testing the trial version. I've tried to code an indicator that I can't do anywhere, but I've been told that sierra is good for the platform's freedom of action.

However, I created a cpp file with notepad that I placed in the DATA folder of sierra chart, as it is indicated everywhere. But when I click on ADD Custon Study in study, I can't find my file in the list.

Is there a problem with the trial version that prevents me from creating custom studies?

The .cpp file needs to go in the "ACS_Source" folder under the main Sierra Chart installation folder. And you need to build the library. The .dll file will go into the 'Data' folder once it is built.

Please follow the instructions at the following link:

thank you, but I've already done everything indicated in the link you sent me.
"build advanced custom studies" does not work. I can't get a dll file. I load my file to compile.

But when I click on remote build nothing happens in "build output".

Expand the Build Custom Study window by grabbing a corner with your pointer and dragging. The information is in the "Build Output" section, but your window is too small to see it.
