After the message advising that the current version of Sierra was no longer supported I downloaded the new version - however, my SierraChart application now keeps shutting down unless I use safe mode. Certain studies in my suite do not load on safe mode. Please advise if this is a known issue and when I can run the application in normal mode again

I have the same issue after upgrading to the current version. SC shuts down until it's fully loaded. I'm now in safe mode too without any studies

Removed the last loaded study according to the logs before SC crashed. Did that with 2 studies but still crashing. For a quick fix I went back to v2551 for today

Yes v2562 fixed it for me as well. Thanks - in future perhaps version changes of this nature can be executed during the weekend to avoid disruption?

The problem related to Chart Drawings and ACSIL. And this has been resolved in the latest version.

Recompiling studies that broke from this against v2562 results in the studies now working, however, ACSIL graphics performance is significantly slower than in releases pre-v2551 that did not have the new ACSIL/GDI functions.

We do not see at all how graphics performance, when not using the ACSIL graphics functions would be impacted at all. This does not make technical sense. The presence of those functions is completely impossible to have any performance impact at all. They simply remain unused.

And the functionality to support the graphics functions in ACSIL has existed long before version 2551. The changes for that were implemented months before.

Whatever the cause is in your case is not something we can help with. But we will measure graphics performance, for the internal graphics functionality that Sierra Chart has and make sure it is comparable to what was in the past.
