incorrect npl in 'Attached Trade Window to Chart' - all correct elsewhere

Hi, Pls see attached. As you can see in the 'chart' you can see a correct sell entry/exit (yellow arrows). On a trade p&l of $1.50 and commission of 1.02, this generates a NPL of $0.48. This is correctly displayed in my trade activity log. However, as you can see from attached, my 'Attached Trade Window to Chart' is incorrectly showing a loss of $2.48 (yellow arrow). It appears to be using my emini commission rather than my micro commission??? That's the calculation of it anyway. However, as the figures are correctly represented in the Trade Activit Log, then this signifies i am set up correctly? I am familiar with commissions in symbol setttings. I would like this to show up correctly in my 'Attached Trade Window to Chart' as it is elsewhere. Thanks. |

The Trade Window does not include the Commissions, the Trade Activity Window does. Additionally, the Trade Window is showing results for all fills that are associated with the selected account - depending on when the fill data is supposed to start from - refer to the following: Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) Please look at the values again with the above information and the numbers should work out. Thx for replies. John, i am not sure what you are saying? The Trade Window DOES include commissions. I have attached two examples - 1 MNQ and 1 NQ - showing TRADE WINDOW including commissions, which now reconciles exactly with TRADE ACTIVITY WINDOW. I really dont know why you would suggest the TRADE WINDOW does not include commissions? I figured out yesterday that first part of the solution was in symbol settings and relates to global round turn commissions versus custom systems. However as the day progressed i still had multiple NPL problems, which have only been occuring very recently. I have re-reviewed your link suggestions above and implemented the recommendations. Hopefully, in combination, today will see the issues resolved. Thank you both. Can i suggest that having a correctly displayed NPL in the TRADE WINDOW that includes commissions is a vital function that needs to continue to be fully functional in the TRADE WINDOW. I hope you agree its important we all understand how this function works. Where I have a misunderstanding I appreciate your input to enlighten me further. Thank you. Sorry, I had forgotten that the commission is not taken into account only when using the internal Average Price calculations. From our documentation: In the case of when using a Position Average Price calculation method which is performed by Sierra Chart, there is no consideration of the commission setting for a Symbol in this average price calculation.
