Hi, I understand that i cannot trade futures options from Sierra Charts. However, would like to trade the futures from SC, and place a collar with options using a platform that supports options, and i need it to recognize that the short option is coverred. What is the recommended way to do this? |

We are not fully understanding what you are wanting. It sounds like you want to have some way of viewing the option trade from another system in Sierra Chart. If this is what you want, then there is not a built-in way to do this. You would have to create a custom study to get the information from the other system and then display what you want in Sierra Chart. Ok thank you! But do i need to use the same order routing for the futures and options (CQG or Rithmic, since SC doesn't have options order routing) in order for the short options to be paired up with the futures position?

You are going to have to figure out how to pair up these items. We do not have anything internal to do this for you. So what order routing is used does not matter to us.

I saw on the forums that there were issues with CQG connection, is Rithmic better?
