Hello,

I appreciate the help in advance, and in general the quality of the Sierra Charts platform.

I was wondering if it is possible to modify the zig zag study (or any study that includes the extend end points until future intersection) so that the extension ignores if it intersects with a wick and only breaks the extension if it intersects with the body of the candle.

The reason for this is with this functionality you could discern between liquidity grabs vs more solid changes of structure.

I included an example where the teal arrow shows the intersection causing a bounce, but ultimately the close below would ideally be the intersection break.

The application is I am using the ZigZag as a market structure indicator and this would be super helpful.

Appreciate it

I'm interested in same thing. Have you find solution?

I found out an overcome, it is not perfect but it is working, just change "Input data for High" to "Open" and "Input data for Low" to "Last" (but problem is, that line is removed even if swing is touched by retesting wick from same swing - not by followed swing).
