After hooking up external two 4K monitors to my laptop, the SC window was scaled up even though all other windows programmes were at native 4K res.

Then my resolution on my SC install on the laptop screen (once the external screens were removed) is now at a much higher scale than it was before.

ONE:

Is there a way to reset this?

There is a reset button in the fonts settings, but there are loads to reset, and I plan on using external displays regularly.

TWO:

Is SC or Windows doing this?

THREE:

Is there a way to force SC to run at the existing screen resolution and not scale?

So the question is about font sizes?

No, all the documentation I read online is how to make readability easier by increasing font sizes.

I can change font sizes, I want SC (or Windows) NOT to change font sizes.

Actually, as a note, the title bar of the SC window which contains the build number is running at the correct native res.

Everything in the SC window is scaled up however.

What we want you to do is to manually go through each font setting in Sierra Chart:
Graphics Settings: Fonts and Text Appearance

And then reset them to what you want. See if this resolves the issue. Once they are set once, in newer versions, the font point size will be maintained.

Newer versions of Sierra Chart will always maintain the same point size even when there are changes to the DPI setting on the computer.
