I have a chartbook with currency pairs

I scan when the RSI is crossing the 45 , or 55 line

I use formula : =OR(crossover ( ID3.sg1 , 45 ) , crossover (ID3.sg1,55))

I have checked : evaluate on bar close and alert only once per bar

I still get 4 out of 9 alerts where the conditions are not correct

What else can I do that I only get correct alerts

thanks

Is unlikely there is a problem with the evaluation of that alert formulas

There must be some explanation for this but we do not have sufficient information to help with this.

It would be good to apply this formula to the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study so the bars are colored where this is TRUE. You can then post an image of the chart, so we can get a better idea of what you are seeing.

Please draw an arrow or something else on the chart pointing out the signal that you think is not right. And post the image again.

You can use the Tools >> Arrow tool.

At the very last bar in the chart, the bar is not black so it is not colored by the Color Bar study, so we are not really understanding the problem.

Hi

The problom is :

The alert manager showed an alert on the last Bar Friday ,
where the RSI was not above the 55 line , ( see arrow ) ,so there should
not have been an alert.

And this happened on a number of charts.

At this point, it is impossible for us to give an answer as to why that happened. The most reasonable explanation is as the bar was forming, the Alert Condition Formula was momentarily TRUE.
