Hi Support. I would kindly appreciate if there is an opportunity to add this feature. Objective: ----------- Double click a trade entry in the Trade Activity log and it will automatically locate/map the trade on the chart as shown in the attached figure. This will be a very supportive to review the trade executions with an instant mapping on the chart from the trade log. ----------- On another request: Is it possible to have charting curves for the data presented in the trade log as visual charting of the data series. It can be very efficient in tracking performance. It is absolutely valid now to copy the trade log to Excel and do charting from excel. The request if this would be added automatically within SC platform. However, the first request is higher in terms of priority.. Thanks a lot for your help and support to continuously add enhancements to SC ... |

+1 - great feature to include the navigation of trades. I would also love to have a similar feature for parsing of Alert conditions as it is painful to scroll charts and see where are all the alerts triggered. My priority of enhancements when it comes to trade activity log are as follows: 1) Modify Equity Peak/Valley column calculations under Period tab to include closed + open trades. Currently, it ignores open trades which is a huge disadvantage to traders. There is NO way to tell what is my true high/low equity watermark for the strategy for the given period. Even if it is done for one instrument per account (to keep it simple to implement), traders will hugely benefit from creating positive expectancy strategies. If my strategy holds a trade that goes into 100s of ticks in profit and then ends in breakeven or loss at the end of session, there is simply no way to track/capture this in the trade log for daily/weekly/monthly periods. I beg you to please include true high/low account equity watermark! Available/Used Margin is based on open trades so ignoring open trades puts us at a big disadvantage when it comes to assessing our strategy to it's full potential or lack their of. 2) Similar to how you have implemented ID tags for each chart drawing to make them accessible in alert formulas and automated trading, Kindly create similar ID tags for all values generated in the "statistics" tab and make them accessible to simple alert algo traders. This capability would be a huge hit! 3) Modify trading:profit/loss txt study to include sub graphs and allow us to access the values of MAE/MFE/Trade Duration etc in simple alert formulas. This study is good only for manual trades starring at charts and useless for simple alert algo trades. This will also be a huge hit ! Thanks for your time! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-13 22:35:50

If you update to the latest version it is possible now to go to the location in the associated chart for the order fills themselves. Not Trades though. There is a command for this: Window >> Goto Chart for Fill.

Thanks a lot for the prompt feedback. I have opened the trade activity log/trade activity tab, selecting only the fills from the drop down menu. I then highlight one of the rows in the table and go to window > goto chartfor fill.. The pointer would take me to the end of the chart with some change of the chart view. However the left hand side time is not the time stamp of the fill and even not in the scope of the viewed chart. Not sure, If I am following the right steps ? |

Thanks a lot for your continuous support and improvements to SC. Would we expect some automatic generated graphs that can process the trade activity logs and generate graphs for various performance evaluation for the period under query? If not, would it be possible if you can upload under your website an excel template that we can copy and paste the trade logs and it can generate these graphs within the excel template ? Thanks a lot for your active support .. |
