I am running an automated strategy using the Spreadsheet System for Trading and using two different charts. As I've been forward testing the strategy, I'm noticing a slight lag between the two charts which leads to missed signals. To provide further context, I have a main chart I am running the system from on a shorter time frame, and a higher time frame chart using a study to filter for directional bias. When the HTF study begins to shift, it often isn't reflected on the STF chart until after the fact. I recently tried updating the Use Controlled Order Chart Updating and it leads to much slower performance on all of my charts. My current Chart Interval Update is set to 500 ms. Am I doing this correctly? Are there any other ways I can improve the latency without slowing the performance of my charts? Any help is appreciated! |

If you are using the Study/Price Overlay study, sometimes signals will be disappear, and sometimes they will occur late. The only two settings that mitigate this anomaly are: -Data Copy Mode -Bar Time Matching Method You can mitigate this anomaly with these settings but there is no way to completely eliminate it.
