I have a couple real accounts and some sim accounts. I have my open orders show on my chart. The orders only show when I am in one live account or my other sim account though. I have another Sim account and when I trade in that account on the DOM (The DOM and chart are linked) the orders do not show on the chart. How can I make the orders show up on the chart no matter what account I am in? tks |

The system is only going to show the orders for the account that is selected. If you want to view the orders for multiple accounts, you would have to have different charts opened with different accounts selected for each one. Refer to the following: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Enabling Display of Orders and Trade Position, and Configuration of Orders and Trade Position Display For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have already done this. and they do show up on the chart. The problem is that when I switch accounts in the DOM which is linked to the chart, the chart stops showing the orders. Pleas advise.

There is no work around. Whenever you change the account, you are only going to see the orders for the selected account. The only other thing we can say is to not link the DOM to the Chart for the Symbol. I dont think you are still understanding me. The Chart and the DOM are linked. I only need the chart to show me the open orders that are in the account on the DOM. It currently will do just that and exactly what I want. But what happens is when I change the account on the DOM to another account, it will stop showing me the open orders. Please advise.

So you are saying that you have open orders with the account you change to, and those orders are not being displayed?

There definitely should not be a problem with this. Here is the relevant documentation: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Enabling Display of Orders and Trade Position, and Configuration of Orders and Trade Position Display Make sure you are changing the account on the correct Trade Window which belongs to the chart: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM This is a common mistake.
