VOLQ-NQGI not showing realtime data

I have added VOLQ-NQGI to a chart using the Add Additional Symbol study and the ticker is not showing current data. For example, the time is currently 11:19am but VOLQ-NQGI has only updated to 10:10. Selecting "Delete and Download Data" updated VOLQ-NQGI to 10:56, but the data still does not update in real time. My primary NQ chart is still updating in real time. I have tried reconnecting my data feed and updating the symbol list from the SC server. |

You did not have the NASDAQ Global Indices exchange active. We have done this for you. There is no charge for this exchange, but it does need to be activated in order to get the real-time data.

Thank you, but I just had a chance to check it and something still isn't working. I created a new intraday chart with VOLQ-NQGI and the data stops at 9-29 at 15:59. |

NASDAQ discontinued this symbol for reasons which we do not know.

Thank you. I saw that you recommended VOLQ in other threads as an alternative to VIX, which is why I was trying to use it. Is VIX available through Denali, or is there a different volatility index like VIX that you recommend? If so, what is the Denali symbol for this index?

Yes. Very sad that NASDAQ removed this. Use the volatility index futures from the CFE. sean3000, Try VOLX|Mini VIX (CFD -FXCM). It's free and seems to be the closest instrument available in SC to track the VIX. |
