I have searched this topic extensively, I have added the suggested settings , but I still am not able to have a crosshairs as my constant cursor, and have the ability to move the charts freely like with hand mode. Is this actually achievable?

what i would like-

synced cross hairs on at all times as the default cursor, on all charts. Then when I depress the left button I am able to then drag the chart as if I am in hand mode, but cross hairs stay on chart without disappearing. this way i can globally evaluate the synced crosshair across multiple charts at all time, and not have to switch tools just to move the chart. This is an automatic setting on every other major platform.

what i currently have-

am in hand mode all the time, can drag chart, but only time I can see a constant cross hair is when the left button is actively depressed thus enabling chart drag mode, or when the pointer is changed to crosshair, which then stays constant, but disables chart drag mode.

On the "Tool Settings" window (Tools >> Tool Settings) set the following:
- Always on When Chart Values Tool Selected: Yes
- Action when Other Tools Selected: Always On When Using Other Tools

Then keep the Tool Setting to "Hand" and you will get the cursor displayed at all times and have the ability to drag the chart around.

OMG! Thank you!, I had the other "Action" setting enabled, this did it, I just didnt have the right combo of settings. MUCH appreciated.

Is there a way to make it so the crosshairs show up on each chart that I have up? I would like it to be synced.
