Issues with new control bar items

I'm not sure how complete these new features are expected to be, but I thought I'd share the issues I've run into them. Specifically I'm referring to this: 2. Customizable Trade Window. The Control Bar is being enhanced so that it can be used as a customizable Trade Window. More information on this later but you can see new Trade Window type controls which can be added to the Control Bar now through Global Settings >> Customize Control Bars >> Control Bar # >> Available Control Bar Commands >> Special Items.
1. The account selection dropdown only works if you have enabled the Trade Window for the selected chart. Otherwise it will appear to change accounts, but as soon as you put the chart in focus again it reverts back to what it was before. If you open a Trade Window for that chart, then change the menu, after that you can close the trade window and it will continue working as expected until the program is terminated. 2. The P&L reporting in the control bar, doesn't always update. When a position size changes for example, it does not reflect the change unless you customize the control bar, and hit OK on that dialog. This refreshes the control bar items and they will correctly reflect the new position size and P&L. I look forward to these working fully as intended, I've wanted to be able to permanently hide my trade windows for years. Thanks! |

I am updated to the latest version as of this morning. No change. I have to have activated a TW in the chart first, though I can immediately hide it again. It has to have been visible at least once.
