Is it possible reference data from a chart on a spreadsheet. For example can I go into cell A2 and write a formula that says goto chart #2 and return the volume of the 2nd to last bar?

You can not reference the data from a different chart. You need to use the "Study/Price Overlay" to overlay the study from the other chart to the chart that has the Spreadsheet Study. Then you can reference the information from that Study/Price Overlay. Refer to the following:
Study/Price Overlay Study

Okay but there's no formula i can use like =Chart2.Study1
The only way to do it is to add a study to chart 2 that sends the data to my .scss spreadsheet correct?

As we stated - there is not a way to do this directly.

The only option is to use the "Study/Price Overlay".

The link you sent isnt showing anything about spreadsheets.
To be clear im dont want to overlay a study from one chart onto another chart.
I dont want to look at a chart at all. I'm trying to get data onto a .scss spreadsheet.

Just so i'm understanding you correctly you are saying either
a) this is impossible to do
b) this is possible to do using Study/Price Overlay

We did not realize that you were trying to do this from a standard spreadsheet. Within a standard spreadsheet you can not do this at all. The information for studies is not accessible within these kind of spreadsheets.

What you need to do is to use the Spreadsheet Study, which does give you access the study information. Refer to the following for how to use the Spreadsheet Study:
Using the Spreadsheet Study

And then refer to the following for how to reference a study from within the Spreadsheet Study:
