Thanks in advance for any suggestions, apologies for the newbie lack of knowledge, I have read as much of the excellent support information as I could - and have worked out that I am wasting my money paying for Interactive Brokers CME Futures tick data when I can get more accurate (and reliable) data via Sierra Chart services (I wrote some python to extract as much of the IB data as I could without getting limit violations, however their reset of their servers is far from consistent, making it tough to get much more than days at a time (tick level). Hence me moving to Sierra Chart (many other reasons of course). I did read however that if I already am subscribed to data via Interactive Brokers then I can access CME data via Sierra Chart services for far less than the $66/month (non-registered CME trader + no CME broker) - closer to $4 a month. Other relevant info: I am not a professional status trader, don't have CME exchange registration, no broker other than IB, trade from Australia. So, my question is, what do I opt for in the services sign-up options? I am assuming Level 12, but not sure how to opt in for that reduced cost CME data feed (if an option) if I already have IB data feed (which I also read needs to remain active and contactable once monthly for Sierra Chart to verify). Apologies for lengthy background. Keen to get started. |
