Hi John This is very messy, It's clear that SC needs a solution to spread charting, If you look at something like TOS they have a simple spreader, TT has easy solution, just type in the formula and you get the chart? I have spent some time on this and the attached chart is the simplest method I have managed to achieve, I would appreciate you checking it, it seems to work! Are there any plans to simplify this? The simplified method is the "Custom Calculated Symbols", but this whole thing started since you did not like having to redo the formula for each new contract.

I appreciate that but its very limited, that method would be better if there was a continuous symbol code like CL# Thank you for your help, don't get me wrong, I love SC and I'm only trying to provide constructive feedback, I know many traders that share these frustrations. |

I'm a spread trader and reading this forum on the 321 crack spread....what I can do is very simple. I can write a study where you just input the contracts to have auto-roll attached and a easy to way to create any type of spreads. Just got the idea by reading all the issues folks are having. Another thing I am working on for myself is a spread matrix, which is in progress. |
