1. Teton order routing server-side Profit/Loss Management with all of the functionality described here but operating on the server in a very reliable and stable environment: Global Profit/Loss Management This will be released in the coming weeks. It is developed but requires testing. It will be released for the Trading Evaluator later this week. 2. Customizable Trade Window. The Control Bar is being enhanced so that it can be used as a customizable Trade Window. More information on this later but you can see new Trade Window type controls which can be added to the Control Bar now through Global Settings >> Customize Control Bars >> Control Bar # >> Available Control Bar Commands >> Special Items. More of them will come (Like for the order type and prices). However, there are buttons now for all of the different order types. There will be a new Attached Orders interface. There is also the ability to specify a minimum width for a Control Bar which is useful when attaching to the left or right. In the next release, you will be able to attach a Control Bar to a chart which is already attached to the main window. 3. This is not a new feature. It is already in existence but has recently been redeveloped. This is the chat functionality. File >> Open Chat Window. It is important to be on a current version of Sierra Chart to be able to use chat. Chat will not function in older versions due to a redesign of the functionality and a different server. 4. Another new feature to be released is real-time Chartbook sharing which we should be able to release this week. This allows you to share a Chartbook in real time with any number of other users. You can publicly share it all users, who decide to subscribe to it, or to specified users. As you interact with the Chartbook, adding and removing studies and changing studies and doing chart drawings and modifying drawings, all the other users subscribed to the Chartbook will see the changes. 3. A note about chat (File >> Open Chat Window): As of about 2:30 PM US Eastern time on 2023-09-03 it is now required to use Sierra Chart prerelease version 2541 or higher to be able to use the Chat functionality. 5. Another new feature which has been released for a while now is: In all of the Spreadsheet Studies, there are Columns I and J which display various fields of information and some of them allow input of numbers and strings for certain fields. Over time these particular columns and the rows have become disorganized. There are these new Spreadsheet Study Inputs to allow you to organize them in a more orderly format: "Use Column I and J Values Version 2" "Clear Unused Column I Names" 1. In version 2543, attached is a screenshot of the new profit/loss management which can be used with this service: Simulated Futures Trading Service Note: The Flatten At Time functionality is not yet implemented. 1. This functionality is now fully released for the Simulated Futures Trading services, both live and delayed: Simulated Futures Trading Service: Introduction The ability to flatten at a set time is now supported. You need to be running the latest version: Software Download: Fast Update To edit the settings, follow the instructions here: Trade Account and Risk Management: Edit Trade Account And then select the User Profit/Loss Management tab. The functionality works the same as the existing built-in, General Settings >> Global Profit/Loss Management. Once positions are flattened, or if the Use Liquidation Only Mode When Trigger Rules Met, is set to Yes, and the account is placed in the liquidation only mode, you will not be able to enter new positions or increase your positions, respectively, until the next trading day which would begin at 5:30 PM Eastern time. There is no way around this. When this becomes available for Teton order routing you will not be able to call your broker to unlock the functionality. Your account is going to be locked, or you will not be able to increase your positions if it is put into liquidation only mode, until the next trading day. And that is really how it should be, because risk management must be strictly followed for it to be effective. There are always going to be trading opportunities, the following day or days. Regarding the real-time Chartbook sharing, we have not had time to complete all of the details related to that. However, we are getting back to this now. We have done an update on the server, and we did a change in the file name format and how to track Chartbooks. This change has caused the existing Chartbooks which have been shared to be cleared.
