Hello,

This is an Upload Main Window Image (with Overlays) of two charts.

https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1692866617780.png

Chart #2 is a Duplicate Chart to which has been added the Volume Value Area Lines study.

The result is differences in the Volume data displayed on each chart. This is most obvious just after the EIA Report on August 23 where Chart #1 shows no Volume for 5 bars. The Intraday Data Editor shows some Volume around this time, which implies that Chart #2 may be more accurate. Also the values of both Cumulative Delta studies have different values on each chart.

This is a new installation of Sierra Chart connected to a new live Teton / Denali account. A Delete and Download Data was done starting from before the preceding 5:00pm CDT Open.

Which chart is actually displaying accurate Volume data, if either?
Is there a Setting that would bring both charts into alignment?

Thank you.

We need more information. Also a better description and perhaps an image would help.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

I tried to delete my original post after solving the problem myself.
The only instruction provided was to Edit to a '.'

The original post has been restored.

The problem was:
Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (List) >> 1 Second.
Once changed to "1 Tick" followed by Delete and Download Data, both charts aligned and filled in the Cumulative Delta gaps.

If "1 Second" is the default setting, perhaps it would be better as "1 Tick".
