Rollover Question and Suggestion about Custom Symbols

Hi Sierra Chart, I am wondering if there is any hidden method to adjust volume-based rollover calculations. I would find it beneficial to rollover based on tick volume activity rather than real volume. I imagine the problem would be that the rollover calculation is done with historical data? Secondly, I am hopeful that Sierra Chart devs will continue to work on the custom symbols feature. This is tremendously useful but would be vastly improved with support for continuous contracts. Perhaps the accuracy needn't be on a second-by-second basis. Thanks |

I would like to elaborate on this: Currently, the symbol settings for a custom symbol only allow for one contract to be continuous. There is no control for rollover of the other symbols used in the custom symbol. Does Sierra Chart Engineering have any interest in enabling control for rollover of each symbol? This would put the nail in the coffin for CQG’s Integrated Client. Sierra Chart would definitively have the best spread charting on the market. |
