I am sorry for the question that might have a simple answer, i recently started using this particular study, i am able to create very simple calculations and chart them, when i review the chart everything looks great. When i am live with data and connected that is when i get incorrect data in the calculations, i have to reload charts to calculate the data correctly in the spreadsheet. Is there something i need to do to make sure the calculations are correct when data is processing, Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-08-22 18:57:33

Somehow you have taken a Quote Board Spreadsheet and a Spreadsheet study and put them together. This is why it is not working properly. If that spreadsheet is named "DefaultSpreadsheetStudy", then you will want to delete it so you can get back to a clean slate. If you have anything important in the setup of that spreadsheet then you will want to write it down so you can replicate it to a proper study. In order to delete the spreadsheet, makes sure the spreadsheet is not open and is not being used by any charts (i.e. there are no Spreadsheet Studies running). Select "File >> Open Spreadsheet" and select the entry for "DefaultSpreadsheetStudy" and then select the button for "Delete File(s)". Now that the spreadsheet is gone you can move forward. What exactly are you wanting to accomplish? Is there some reason you want to use the Quote Spreadsheet? If not, then you should use the Spreadsheet Study. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this, i am simply trying to run a study that divides volume by another number, it calculates it just fine expect for when i live feed, then it seems to proccess each bar twice which very quickly throws off the chart

To start with, do not use a Quote Spreadsheet to do this. Use the Spreadsheet Study. Within the Spreadsheet for the Spreadsheet Study, you will find that column F has the Volume for each bar. You should be able to work with this from that data. Refer to the following: Using the Spreadsheet Study: Step By Step Instructions to use the Spreadsheet Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
