Can I run the second instance on a separate HDD

I have been running a second instance using the recommended way which creates a subfolder under data called SierraChartInstance_2.

My question; is it possible to move the second instance to another HDD on the same computer, and keep using the same data Feed. I would like to split the HDD resources between the 2 instances, ie. c drive will run the first instance and d drive will run the second instance, with the second instance sharing the data Feed of the first instance as with my initial (recommended) setup.

You can change the location of the Data folder for the second instance so that is on a different drive. When you open the second instance set the option for "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Data Files Folder" to where you want it to be. Note that you will need to set the option below it for "Always Use 'Data' folder Within Main Folder" to "No" to do this. You will also want to set the "Market Depth Data Path" to be under the new "Data" folder location.

Refer to the information starting at the following link:
General Settings Window: Files and Folder Paths (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths)

Another option is to simply have a second Sierra Chart installation on that other drive, which will give you essentially the same result. You can do this since you are using the Teton Order Routing Service, so both installations can be set to the same connection and you will not have a problem. There are no additional fees or charges for this (as long as the installations are on the same computer). Refer to the following:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart

And also refer to the following regarding copying files to the other installation if you go this way:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
