Hello, I am currently on your demo plan and testing your platform. I plan to use Teton Order Routing system (with Denali Data Feed) for which I have already registered with a broker (Optimus). While testing the demo version of Optimus I noticed that there are latency problem with their data, there was a lag in prices when I have prices for Natural Gas Sept contract opened. I am based in Prague, Czech Republic and plan to trade first on NYMEX, then on CME, CBOT. So my question is whether you also have latency issues with the data feed. Are your servers located somewhere in Europe for people who are trading from here. Thanks for the help, Archit |

The data you are getting into Sierra Chart right now is from us. The data for the CME Group (and also any data for EUREX, CFE, and U.S. Equities) is coming from our Delayed Streaming Data service. Therefore, the data will be delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on the exchange). For the CME Group, the delay is exactly 10 minutes and 10 seconds. Refer to the following for more information: Delayed Exchange Data Feed You are NOT getting data from any other source, as you can not do this during a trial. The delayed streaming data acts, in all ways, the same as real-time data except it is delayed, and there is no charge for this data. Any lag that you see with this data would be the same as you would see from our real-time data, as the servers are located in the same location in Chicago. But check to see if you really are having lagging issues, or if you are just seeing the delayed data. In particular, you should have an item in your chart header that begins with DD:. This is the Data Delay, which should be 00:10:10 for the CME Group data. If that is what is showing then you are not having any lagging. Maybe I did not phrase my question correctly. All I want to know is whether you are aware of any issues that people living in Central/Eastern Europe might have regarding latency when using Teton Order Routing for trading on NYMEX, CBOT. |

If you have a good stable Internet connection you should not have a problem. Certainly there is going to be some latency of about 150 ms but that should be about it. No other than for EUREX data: Are your servers located somewhere in Europe for people who are trading from here.
