Hmm, odd. I wrote a post asking for support and now I can't find it under my posts/threads. It was, I admit, written in anger. Did SC Support take it down?

The title of the post was "Sierra Chart/IBKR Combo has shot my risk management to hell". And luckily I did keep a record of the post's URL:

Sierra Chart/IBKR Combo has shot my risk management to hell

So am I the *ssh*le here? As I see it, Sierra Chart, as a responsible software provider, would want to know about any software problems that exposed their users to increased risk so they could investigate said problems and do something about them. They wouldn't want problems swept under the carpet.

When you post with the subject "Programming Help", it is not something that Sierra Support normally responds to:

From the Support Request page:

10. Programming help. Formula writing help. Advanced usage help. None of this is provided by Sierra Chart support unless we deem it is appropriate. These threads will be marked either as a User Discussion or as Programming Help. For an understanding of the perspective of Sierra Chart support on troubleshooting automated trading systems and in general study programming, refer to Troubleshooting Automated Trading System Behavior.
