Problem with formulas in spreadsheet after duplicating chart

Please follow steps and you will get the same result: 1. Create chart with spreadsheet formula 2. Duplicate chart' 3. On new chart In Studies settings change name for spreadsheet in spreadsheet study (now there is new spreadsheet) 4. Try to use formula from chart (step one). Paste formula into cell. Formula will apply only to first cell (should apply to all cells in column) 5. Add manually new spredsheet study to this duplicated chart. This spreadsheet have to has new name. 6. Paste same formula to call. Formula will be applied properly to all cells. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-08-09 12:54:17

There is no bug here. You have to keep in mind how the system handles the sheet numbering and the formula sheets. In particular, when you duplicated the chart, the new chart number created a new sheet within the Spreadsheet Study (say you had Chart #1 originally, which would have Sheet1 in the Spreadsheet Study, then when you duplicate the chart to Chart #2, that chart would be associated with Sheet2 in the Spreadsheet study). But, the Formula sheet does not change. Therefore, the formula sheet stays as Sheet1. When you then change the name of the spreadsheet study, that formula sheet is now blank. Since the main sheet is referencing a different formula sheet, the columns do not automatically fill-in. Yes, this is complicated, but it allows for more power with the spreadsheets by allowing you to have a single formula source for multiple sheets.
