I could be wrong, or just missing an option somewhere, but here is my issue: I like to scale into winners at certain levels. What I would like to do is scale into winners (i.e. ES - I first buy at 4565 and buy more at 4590) I would like the 4590 to be the first order that gets executed when covering instead of the 4565 - Executing 4565 first will bring my average up, where as if i executed a cover on the 4590 my average would be much lower. It seems everytime I bring a child order up to execute - i.e a child order of a 10pt cover of 4590) it always uses my 4565 price and ups my average near the price where I added at 4590. I would rather cover my 4590 position first and let the original 4565 position ride. I hope this makes sense. EOD I just want my winner adds to execute before my previous buys that were lower. |

You would need to choose an "Open Position Average Price" option that works best for you. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Open Position Average Price (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) Just keep in mind that the order in which Orders fill does not matter in the end, as it is all just addition and subtraction.
