Does Sierra have the option for "Dash at Last Bar to Edge" , I do not want to use "Line at Last Bar to Edge" as it causes overlap and diagnoal lines between market RTH close and open. I cannot find anything similar to "Dash at Last Bar to Edge". Can you suggest a workaround? Thank you. |

We are not really understanding what you want. The "Dash" drawing style is the same as "Line" only it does not draw the connections between the bars. Therefore a draw style of "Dash at Last Bar to Edge" would give you exactly the same display as the "Line at Last Bar to Edge". And we really do not understand your statement that the ""Line at Last Bar to Edge" as it causes overlap and diagnoal lines between market RTH close and open." As by definition, you are only getting a line from the last bar. Attached screenshot, I am using OHLC study, would like a "Dash at Last Bar to Edge" to avoid the diagonal lines at the start of the day, and for them to extend to the edge.

Have you tried the option of "Line at Last Bar to Edge"? This will draw a line at the last bar in the chart to the right edge. It sounds like this is what you want. If you just want to remove the diagonal lines that connect the horizontal lines between days, then set the Draw Style to "Dash". If you are wanting a line for each day that goes from the end of the day to the edge of the chart, then there is not a specific option for this, but you should be able to use the Spreadsheet Study to accomplish this. Hi, I have the same need, that I want to extend to edge, but the historical line I don't want it to have connections between the days, so DrawStyle is really DASH_EXTEND_TO_EDGE, and LineStyle is "LINE". Could you please add that in the next release? |
