Hello Support Team, I am trading the CME 6J futures contract, and was happy that I could easily invert the prices displayed on the chart via a toggle in the chart settings. This converts the price, e.g. 0.0072450 (USD required to buy Yen) into 138.0262299 (amount of Yen that one USD buys) which is a little easier to read and think about (e.g. USD strength/weakness). However I also like to trade off the chart via the Chart DOM, but when using inverted prices my orders are rejected, I think because displayed inverted price is being submitted. The error from the trade service log is: Teton CME Order Routing (Order reject). Info: CME (Rejected).
Text: Order price is outside bands 'Bid of 137897552.50 violates High Band 7302.00 using Delta .00, C.Last equals 7242.00'. Text: Parent order. Internal Order ID: xxxx. Service Order ID: xxxxxxx. Symbol: 6JU23_FUT_CME. Account: xxxx | 2023-07-19 15:05:54.703 * Is there any way to have an inverted price displayed and have orders submitted with the non-inverted price? Thanks, Kel. |

It is true that it is not possible to trade from a chart that is inverted. There is no reversing of the price invert previously done at the time an order is submitted. We will review this again and see what we can do to support this.
