Hello, Is it possible to display both prior and current period with one profile? A bit like "Separate Bid/Ask" option, but instead of Bid and Ask, it would show the prior period in one color and the Current period in another on one profile. That way it would be very easy to read the relationship between both periods. I couldn't find an option to do it, so I tried two workarounds: 1) One profile on the right, manually set to include two periods with the "From Start DateTime to End" option. Does exactly what I need, but only for the specified date range. Can't be used to view historical data unless using Chart Replay 2) Two VbP studies, one referencing the current period and one referencing the prior period. On one hand it shows both periods, but I have to "add" the profiles together in my head instead of just seeing the result |

There is not support for exactly what you want to do. Thanks for confirming it's currently not supported. Would you be open to adding it? Seems that the necessary building blocks (prior periods to reference, bid/ask coloring) are already in place.

We are always open to the suggestions of our users, but we just can not say when we will ever get to any particular suggestion.

I understand. I hope you'll have time to look into it one day. In the meantime, would it be possible for you to share VbP study source code, so that I could look into it on my own?

Understood. Would you be open to discuss whether sc.VolumeAtPriceForStudy is used and provide documentation for that member function? My understanding is that I'd be duplicating some of the functionality that may be already available there.

sc.VolumeAtPriceForStudy is a class, not a function. There is nothing about it that will help you get information related to how we create the Volume by Price Profiles. But it will give you the volume at price data.
