Using AMP as a funded account

Hi. I am responding to an email you recently sent me about ticket number 1688952500427. I am currently receiving real-time data and I set up a funded AMP account in October. Now I am trying to respond to the email you sent by reconnecting to my funded platform for a short time as a non-professional trader. However, when I go into Data/Trade Service Settings as per the instructions, AMP does not appear on the list (the top one is BitMEX). Can you please advise? Thanks. |

The instructions you need to follow to connect to your account at AMP will depend on what Order Routing Service you are setup to use with AMP. It will be either CQG or Teton. If you do not know, then you will need to check with AMP to get this information. Thank you for clarifying how to connect to CQG. However, I am a bit confused as to what this was all about: 1. I have been trading in this way for 8 months and have never had to temporarily connect to AMP in order to verify myself. Why did I suddenly need to do this? Is this a new monthly requirement? 2. When I selected CQG as the data service (in order to connect to AMP) I needed to change my ES chart symbols from ESU23.CME to F.US.EPM23. Now I have logged on again my selected data service has reverted to "SC Data - All services" and I need to change the symbols back again in order for my charts to populate. Does this sound right? Why did the selected data service revert to "SC Data - All services" automatically? 3. Will I have to do all this every month? I'd be very grateful if you could explain all this. Thanks. |

1. You have to login to your live account once a month. Been that way for a while if you're not using data from your live account broker. 2. As far as the symbols, you don't need to change them. Just choose "no" when it asks.Then switch back to SC after you connect. You literally only have to connect for a second. If you use CQG with AMP and trade CME/Eurex, you can only use it for routing and not data. You want to it default to SC Data - All Services (which is Denali). 3. Yes |
