I installed the latest version of the sierra to another computer, and how to run a platform ... my log data does not work? also want all my settings to move our other computers that have the same settings on both computers ... how to log in and move all the same settings? thanks

Dez,

I do that sort of thing a lot.

What I do is install it on the new computer. Then I copy the old SierraChart folder (data directories and all) over the new installation. Now I can start Sierra Chart and it runs just like the old one!

note: make sure the new SC isn't running when you do the copy
note: you can delete the new folder or its contents first if you want but its not necessary
note: you can selectively copy just a few files but its not necessary; its quicker just to copy it all across.

You need to press the Cancel button on the Login window to prevent the automatic login. Not quite sure what you are asking though.

I am now an old log on the computer,,, and I tried on another computer and then I have a problem with logging,,, now can not currently be refined as other computers can not be connected to two computers at the same time

It sounds like you can login on one computer and then when you login on a second computer at the same time, you are being blocked because only one login at a time is allowed. So this is normal.

If you are having some other problem than that, we are not understanding what this is.

I moved all the folders to the new computer .. except data,,, that I have a lot of backlog files .. I think from the former broker ... it is now 18 GB, I do not know what I can delete from it, that does not upset the work platform ... otherwise platform works ok on the old computer, do you have advice for deleting old data?

because it is too much to transfer your files to another computer. thanks

If you did not copy the Sierra Chart Data Folder, you would have nowhere near 18 GB of files. This makes no sense.

You can select File >> New/Open Intraday Chart and delete the unused Intraday data files. That will make the most amount of difference.

means ... open all Chartbook that I use,,, and then open the File >> New / Open Intraday Chart, and here we show all the old data that you do not use anymore?

You can delete them there or do I have to go necessarily to the folder where the sierra installed on your computer and delete there?

We also do not recommend placing Sierra Chart into this folder:
C:\Program Files\

Unless you understand your system and know how to manage file and folder permissions, Sierra Chart will not work properly in this folder. Therefore, we very strongly advise to not use this folder and move Sierra Chart outside of the Program Files folder.
